The nature forest in this island has became agriculture lands.



Key biodiversity
Nusa Penida Island is suitable habitat for Yellow-crested Cockatoo.



Habitat and land use
Secondary forest surrounding Ballinese Temples. Remaing primary forest is 10 ha in the west part on the top of Bundi Hills. The forest dominated by Buchannia arborescens, where the endemic snail of this island can be found (Helvoort et.al.1986, Whitten et.al.1996).
