Site location and context
The site includes Mount Pelineo. It is dominated by scrub and contains four small wetlands.
This is an important area for species typical of Mediterranean scrub.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The trapping of passerines during autumn migration, particularly with lime, is a serious threat.
Part of the area is a candidate SAC.
