Site location and context
This area of the Zadar islands (Premuda, Silba, Olib, Skarda, Ist, Molat, etc.) between Island of Losinj and Dugi otok are characterised by shallow sea and numerous islets. It is important breeding place for fish-eating seabirds. Silbanski grebeni islets are the most important nesting place for Shag populations in Croatia. Main threats are unregulated touristic and recreational activities and overfishing.
