A plain formed of uplifted marine sediments with vast expanses of grassland and numerous shallow lakes and rivers.



Key biodiversity
This site is very important for both breeding and moulting Anser albifrons flavirostris.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No serious threats are known at the site.



Protected areas
National None International PartialIBA overlaps with Ramsar Site (Naternaq).
