Site location and context
A mountainous area with many cliffs. The slopes are covered with Mediterranean scrub, some
Quercus woodland, arable crops and olive-groves.
This is an important area for resident raptors.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are from the enlargement of olive-groves, overgrazing, the high hunting pressure and use of poison, uncontrolled tourism, and disturbance from climbers. A management plan exists.
