Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
A limestone mountain with areas of scrub,
Abies and
Pinus forest. A plateau area is covered by scrub and temporary ponds. There is a limited human presence and the main activities are stock-raising, forestry, tourism, and hunting.
This is an important site for species found in conifer forests and scrub.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from illegal hunting. Part of the area is a candidate SAC.
