A steep mountain and gorge dominated by phrygana. The main human activity is livestock-farming.

An important site for breeding raptors, montane and scrub species.

Part of the area is a candidate SAC.

National None International Partial6,021 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Zoros-Agathi-Kedros, 6,021 ha).
