Site description (2000 baseline)
A large pre-Alpine area, part of the Prealpi Venete, north of the town of Bassano del Grappa. Large areas of broadleaved woodland and pasture dominate the site.

Key biodiversity
The site is important for breeding Crex crex, and is also a `bottleneck' site for migrating raptors in spring, especially Pernis apivorus (3,000-3,500 per season).
