Site location and context
An area of old olive-groves,
Quercus woodland and
Pinus forests, interspersed with scrub and some pasture and cultivation. Human activities include agriculture, forestry, stock-raising, and hunting.
This is an important site for species characteristic of a mosaic of forest, pasture and olive-groves.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats include illegal hunting, illegal logging and the burning of vegetation. Part of the area is a candidate SAC.
