Site location and context
The site includes mountains and hills with cliffs, maquis and garrigue, dry calcareous grassland and agricultural land.
An important site for breeding raptors and Mediterranean species.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The site is seriously threatened by the construction of new forest roads and tourist trails.

International Partial139 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Reserve Naturelle géologique de la Sainte-Victoire, 139 ha). 5,300 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 5,300 ha).
