Site description (2019 baseline)
Mokra Gora is a mountain on the border between Tutin municipality, Kosovo and Metohija Province and Montenegro. It is wider part of the Prokletije mountain range. In its northern slopes, the river Ibar originates, and to its southern slopes is the origin of the Bistrica river. It has two peaks higher than 2000 m. This high mountain habitat is characteristic by primeval coniferous forests, meadows and rocky terrains with deep valleys. With just few small villages this area is almost completely uninhibited. In total four municipalities spreading their territories inside IBA (Peć, Istok, Tutin i Zubin Potok).
