Site location and context
A large alluvial grassland with a few woodlands, partly flooded by the River Milde.
An important area for grassland birds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Crex crex (breeding).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Improved protection and land-use extensification programmes are urgently needed.
National None
International HighIBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
