Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in Shangmeng Township, Lixian County, Aba Prefecture, including parts of the eight villages in Shangmeng Township and some areas of Miyaluo, Lixian County. The IBA is in the mountains on the eastern border of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The main vegetation types are temperate montane.
Key biodiversity
Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected animals include Pseudois nayaur and.Ursus thibetanus.
