Site description (2007 baseline):

Site location and context
This site comprises intact tropical dry forest on alluvium fringing a small lake (c.8 ha) and extends along an intact gradient for several kilometers to low hills at an elevation of c.500 m. Habitat above the beach comprises dense stands of Corypha palm woodland on alluvium.

Key biodiversity
Thirteen restricted-range species have been recorded in this IBA (Trainor et al. 2004).
