Site location and context
A spring-fed wetland dominated by reedbeds (Phragmites) and surrounded by arable agriculture.



Key biodiversity
The site is important for species breeding in reedbeds and passage waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Water abstraction, both groundwater and surface water, for irrigation of crops is a serious threat.
