An area of mixed woodland, lakes, marshes, aquatic vegetation, meadows, heathland and residential areas.

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity

Recreation, the intensification of forestry, and urbanization around the site boundaries are the main threats.

Protected areas

National Low International Partial100 ha of IBA covered by Private Reserve (100 ha). Part of IBA covered by Biosphere Reserve (Forêt de Fontainebleau).
