Site location and context
The site includes rivers, sandy islets, marshes, riverine forest and arable land.
Heron colonies are present along the river.
Burhinus oedicnemus and terns breed on the natural sandy islands.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Fishing and recreational activities are threats.
