Site location and context
The site includes lakes, marshes, rivers, deciduous forests, bogs,
Populus plantations and suburban parks.
An important site for species associated with reedbeds (
Phragmites).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Changes in the water regime, declining water quality and afforestation threaten the site.

International Partial480 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Marais de Fontenay-le-Vicomte et d'Itteville, 480 ha).
