Site location and context
An area of marshes with ponds, reedbeds (
Phragmites), wet meadows and deciduous woodlands.
The area is important for birds breeding in reedbeds and passage waterbirds.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Uncontrolled burning of vegetation and hunting pressure are the main threats to the site, which is not adequately managed.
