Site description (2009 baseline):

Located in the north-east of Nehe City, with Wuda Lianchi (CN006) on its eastern border. Maoshan Nature Reserve (formerly Maoshan Forest Farm) is the source of many rivers.

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

Established as a county-level nature reserve in 1992 to protect Ciconia boyciana and Grus japonensis.
