Site description (2019 baseline)
Flat mostly open area with steppe characters between Dakian plain on east and Carpathian massif on the west. Mala Vrbica has well preserved parts of marshlands as well as abandoned fish pond, loesse hill, flooded parts and Danube flow. Along the borders there is four settlements and all belongs to Kladovo municipality.
