Site location and context
A partly drained fjord area with lakes, lagoons, coastal meadows, saltwater and freshwater marshes, and an associated dyke and dam network.
Important staging area for
Cygnus cygnus and
C. columbianus.
National Partial
International High460 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Lønnerup Fjord, 460 ha). 460 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Vejlerne and Løgstør Bredning, 45,280 ha).
