Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in Qinhuangdao and Tangshan cities. The IBA is a fan-shape inter-tidal wetland on the coast of Bohai Bay, with an area of 20,000 ha. The main habitat types include coastal plantation and semi-abandoned areas. The mudflats are rich in molluscs and crustaceans.
