Site description (2001 baseline):
Site location and context
Part of floodplain of Volgogradski reservoir. Banks are very complicate with many bays, inlets etc. Shallow water are covered reachly by frindge vegatation.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
Not protected. Only narrow line along tributaries of Volga rivers belongs to the "water conservation zone" (maximum 200 ha in total).
