Littoral islets of Murcia and Almería


Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
This site includes six small, rocky, sparsely vegetated islets, close to the coast of Murcia and Almería.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding seabirds.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from disturbance from tourists and from military manoeuvres. There is competition between Larus cachinnans and L. audouinii (`Other' threats, above).
