Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
This site includes six small, rocky, sparsely vegetated islets, close to the coast of Murcia and Almería.
This is an important site for breeding seabirds.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from disturbance from tourists and from military manoeuvres. There is competition between
Larus cachinnans and
L. audouinii (`Other' threats, above).
