Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in the eastern part of Tian’e County, 8 km from the county town. Sanpihu Nature Reserve (CN458) is to the north, and the Hongshui He river to the south. The habitats in the IBA include dense forest on the higher mountains, commercially-exploited forest on the lower mountains, river-side agricultural land and river valleys.
Key biodiversity
Non-bird biodiversity: Important plant includes Tsuga tckekiangensis. Animals include Python molurus, Viverra zibetha, Viverricula indica, Prionodon pardicolor and Muntiacus muntjac.
