Site description (2004 baseline)
Two large raised bogs surrounded mostly by wet mixed forest. Listed as an IBA since 1994 [4, 5, 1]. Partially protected: there is a 75.5% overlap with Lielais and Pemmes bog restricted nature reserve, a candidate SPA.
