Site location and context
Artea located in the agricultural landscape with a rather large native grasslands (steppe and meadows) to the west from Volgograd town.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
Part of area overlaps with "water conservation zone" of river Lavaya Dobraya, but IBA is mostly unprotected.
