Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
A plain dominated by dry scrub and surrounded by hills with Pinus forests. The main human activity is sheep-farming.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for species associated with open habitats, particularly Chersophilus duponti.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are from the ploughing of steppe habitat and the exploitation of the forested areas.
