Site description (2000 baseline):

An area of transition mire with wet broadleaved deciduous forest and humid grassland

This is an important area for breeding raptors, storks and Grus grus.

Improved protection and land-use extensification programmes are urgently needed.

National Partial International HighIBA overlaps with Nature Park. IBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
