Site description (2003 baseline):
15 birds of Flores Green Pigeon
Treron floris recorded in Lamalera. According to local people, the highest number was 20 birds. Probably the habitat of this bird is good enough especially along the south coast of Lembata Island. Yellow-crested Cockatoo
Cacatua sulphurea was here, but probably already extinct (Trainor in prep B).
Bushes at the edge of the beach, savanna and tropical dry forest (Trainor in prep B).
