Site location and context
Toporaphy is hilly. The people in this area work as dry land farmer. Main comodities are coconut (for copra), cacao and clove (Kesaulya 1995).
This area need to a special attention because of good coverage of restricted-range bird species and many threatened species (26 restricted-range bird species).
The habitat is lowland evergreen rainforest (Monk
et.al.1997).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Forest encroachment by local people.
