Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
The site encompasses a former lagoon that has now been drained. Relict humid grasslands and patches of
Quercus robur woodland remain, surrounded by arable agriculture.
The site is important for breeding species associated with a mosaic of arable land, grassland and woodland.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from continued intensification of arable agriculture.
