Site description (2000 baseline)
Three larger and several smaller islands and islets, together with surrounding seas. The islands are mainly covered in boulders and scree, intermingled with ponds and vegetated areas. Human activities include fishing and sheep-grazing, both at low intensity.
Key biodiversity
This is the southernmost seabird colony of notable size in Norway.
