Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
A peninsula in the Black Sea, near the Dnepr delta. There are numerous lakes and lagoons (fresh, brackish and salt water), set in a mosaic of steppe, pseudo-steppe and small forestry plantations.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Threats to the site include haymaking, overgrazing and afforestation.

International None4,000 ha of IBA covered by Regional Landscape Park (Kinburn Peninsula, 17,890 ha).
