Site location and context
Alluvial forest and meadows along the most unspoilt part of Khoper valley, with little disturbance from human activity.
In total about 100 species are breeding in Zapovednik.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
A complex monitoring scheme for the whole ecosystem is ongoing within the Zapovednik.
