Habitat and land use
Sub-montane forest, montane forest, Sphagnum peat bogs, wet ricefields, Kerapah (swamp forest type growing on shallow peat deposits)



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Water pollution, concession logging active across entire area between Pulong Tau National Park and Kayan Mentarang National Park (Kalimantan), widespread hunting.



Protected areas
Unprotected. Includes proposed National Park: Pulong Tau.Southern parts contiguous with Kayan Mentarang National Park (Indonesia).
