Site description (2000 baseline):

Wet and semi-dry meadows in the Jûra valley.

The site is important for breeding Crex crex.

The Ichthyological Reserve protects only the river itself and a narrow zone along the banks, and does not provide real protection to the wider river valley, especially the meadows.

National Partial International None130 ha of IBA covered by Ichthyological Reserve (Jûra, 114 km long).
