Site description (2009 baseline):

Jiuyi Shan Nature Reserve is located in the Mengzhu Ling mountains of the Nanling range. The IBA is the habitat of the bamboo, Phyllostachys bambusoides.

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

Established as a provincial-level nature reserve (3,648 ha) in 1982.
