Site description (2009 baseline):

Site location and context

Located in Rongshui, Huanjiang and Luocheng counties. The main landscape in the IBA is intermediate-height mountains.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Important plant includes Alsophila spinulosa. Animals include Neofelis nebulosa, Macaca assamensis, Macaca mulatta, Macaca thibetana, Selenarctos thibetanus, Viverra zibetha and Manis pentadactyla.

Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity

Established as a provincial-level nature reserve in 1982.
