Site description (2009 baseline):

Located in Longling County, Baoshan City. The main habitats are grassland with sparse forest, and wetlands in the Nu Jiang river valley.

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

The IBA is located inside the provincial-level Xiaoheishan Nature Reserve (16,013 ha), which was established in 1995.
