Site description (2000 baseline)
A small mountain range to the south-east of Pamplona, with limestone cliffs, Quercus and Fagus, scrub and Pinus plantations. The area is grazed by sheep.
Key biodiversity
This is an important site for cliff-nesting raptors, particularly Gyps fulvus. Gypaetus barbatus has recently started breeding.
