Site location and context
A fjord containing several islands, rocky and sandy shorelines, extensive intertidal flats, and areas of shallow water.



Key biodiversity
The concentration of moulting Mergus serrator is the largest in Greenland.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
With the exception of local disturbance caused by hunting, no serious threats are known at the site.



Protected areas
National None International PartialIBA overlaps with Ramsar Site (Ikkattoq).
