Site location and context

Located in the Wushui region, on the upper course of the Yuan Jiang river. The IBA is at the meeting point of the Wuling and Xuefeng mountains, and links to Chengbu and Huitong counties.

Established as a provincial-level nature reserve (8,520 ha) in 1982.
