Site description (2019 baseline)
A part from IBA Kučaj-Beljanica represent the largest beech forest patch in Serbia located in Eastern part of country. This uniform mountain woodland landscape is interspaced with numerous creeks, small rivers and caves. There is no settlements inside IBA. Four municipalities covers borders of IBA (Donji Milanovac, Majdanpek, Žagubica and Kučevo).
