Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in eastern Gansu, on the border with Shaanxi Province. Heshui is in the Ziwu Ling mountains and has a relatively high human population. The main habitats in the IBA are montane broadleaf deciduous forest, secondary scrub, grassland and agricultural land.
