Site summary
This Afrotropical woodlands support a rich assemblage of birds and is a Centre of Plant Diversity. The Hawf Protected Area in Yemen is the western extension of the ‘Dhofar Woodlands’ in Oman. It is part of a well-wooded escarpment and plateau extending some 30km.
