Site location and context
The IBA includes maquis, garrigue, forest and cliffs.
The site is a migratory bottleneck, where more than 3,000 raptors regularly pass (including
Pernis apivorus 3,000;
Milvus migrans 2,000). Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Tetrax tetrax (breeding).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The abandonment of grazing, and recreation activities are threats.
