Site summary
Situated 12 km northwest of Aggeneys, the farm Haramoep forms the central portion of the IBA. The area consists of extensive sandy and gravel plains holding perennial desert grassland and shrubs scattered between bare sand patches. The globally threatened Red Lark Certhilauda burra and the near-threatened Sclater's Lark Spizocorys sclateri occur here.
