Site location and context
An area of mixed forest (predominantly
Tilia and
Quercus with some
Carpinus) situated in the foothills of the Harz mountains and surrounded by arable land.
This is an important site for breeding raptors and woodpeckers.
National Partial
International HighIBA overlaps with Landscape Protected Area and Nature Reserve. IBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
